Hope at House of Style (“we”, “us”) is a single-stylist salon in Palm Desert, California. We keep things simple: you text us (or book online), and we use what you send us to get you in the chair. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you visit this site, book an appointment, or message us.
What we collect
- Contact details — your name and phone number, provided when you text us or book online.
- Appointment details — the services you book, dates and times, and anything you tell us about your hair, preferences, or allergies so we can prepare for your visit.
- Messages — the contents of text conversations with our front desk, so we have a record of your bookings and requests.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this site. If you pay by card, payment is handled by our payment processor, which stores and secures your card details under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To book, confirm, reschedule, and remind you about appointments.
- To answer your questions and provide the services you request.
- To keep basic records of your visits and preferences between appointments.
We only text you about your appointments and inquiries. We won’t send you marketing messages unless you ask for them, and you can stop all texts at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier.
What we share
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the salon run — our messaging and scheduling platform and our payment processor — and when the law requires it (for example, a valid court order). Your mobile opt-in and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Just text or call us at (805) 471-2631 and we’ll take care of it. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional privacy rights; we’ll honor any valid request.
Children
Our site and booking service aren’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.

These terms cover your use of this website and the salon services provided by Hope at House of Style in Palm Desert, California. By booking an appointment — by text or through our online booking page — or by using this site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t book or use the site.
Booking by text
We’re a text-based salon: appointments are booked, confirmed, and managed over text message at (805) 471-2631. By texting us or booking online, you consent to receive appointment-related text messages (confirmations, reminders, and replies to your questions) at the number you provide. Consent to these messages isn’t a condition of purchasing anything, message and data rates may apply, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP — though without texting we may not be able to manage your booking.
Appointments
Please arrive on time; arriving late may shorten your service or require rebooking. An appointment is between you and the salon and can’t be transferred to someone else without checking with us first. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to book on their behalf.
Cancellations & no-shows
Plans change — just text us as early as you can, and at least 24 hours before your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged part or all of the service price, since that time is held just for you.
Pricing & payment
Prices and durations on the service menu are our standard rates and may change; the final price can vary with hair length, thickness, and the work involved — we’ll tell you before we start. Payment is due at the time of service.
Your health & comfort
Please tell us about any allergies, sensitivities, or scalp or skin conditions before a color or chemical service; a patch test may be recommended. If anything makes you uncomfortable during a service, say so and we’ll stop or adjust. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service to anyone behaving abusively or unsafely.
Liability
The site and its content are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited under applicable law.
Changes & governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be posted here with its date. Continuing to book or use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
